Sean Diddy Combs is facing new legal troubles after being accused of an FBI informant by Suge Knight, co-founder of Death Row Records.
Knight, who is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence for voluntary manslaughter, made the allegations on his podcast Collect Calls, claiming that Diddy has been secretly working with law enforcement for an extended period.
Knight suggested that this may have led to the recent federal raids on Diddy’s properties. He also asserted in the show that Diddy’s inner circle was aware of his purported informant status.
Knight’s remarks included, “Naturally, Puffy been an FBI informant forever, as they would say. That’s why it’s different when it comes to him.”
He further added, “Everybody in his crew knew about it. The b***es he dates knew about it. Everybody knew about it. So don’t push away from it now”.
Diddy is currently entangled in a web of legal issues, with federal agents recently raiding his residences in Florida and California as part of ongoing investigations into his business dealings.
While the rapper has not been arrested or charged, sources close to him believe the raids are part of a broader effort to scrutinise his activities.
Knight, his longtime rival, is predicting that Diddy’s legal troubles are far from over, warning that his secrets will ultimately lead to his downfall.
“He’s headed for prison, just like me,” Knight ominously declared on his podcast.
The tension between the two music moguls dates back to the infamous East Coast vs West Coast rap feud of the 1990s and the unsolved murder of Knight’s friend, Big Jake, in 1995.
