Billie Eilish opens up about ‘hard’ side of being famous 

Billie Eilish revealed that she lost all her friends when she rose to fame at the age of 14.

The Ocean Eyes singer recently appeared on BBC’s podcast Miss Me? hosted by singer Lily Allen and British TV personality Miquita Oliver. 

She said, “Well I lost all of my friends when I got famous. I suddenly was famous and I couldn’t relate to anybody. It was tough. It was really hard.”

The musician shared that only one of her close pal Zoe stood beside her.

The Lovely singer said that at the age of 20, she was accompanied by people double her age. She added. “And then it was my 20th birthday and I remember looking around the room and it was only people that I employ. And all 15 years or more older than me.”

However, Billie shared that she has been now in touch with her old friends after making efforts to rebuild connections with them.

She said, “Exactly a year ago, I reconnected with a bunch of old friends and now, I have so many friends.”

Billie continued, “I have a crew now. I could literally cry about it. It’s been the greatest thing that’s happened to me.”
