Previously, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted thunderstorms and rain in the Karachi suburbs on June 22, with temperatures expected to exceed 38°C over the next three days.

According to details, cities including Larkana, Shikarpur, Shahdadkot, and Jacobabad in Sindh province have already received thunderstorms, bringing much-needed relief from the intense heat.

However, Larkana experienced severe storms and rain, leading to power outages and flooding in low-lying areas.

Despite these weather changes, hot and dry conditions prevailed in most districts of the province over the last 24 hours. Dadu recorded the highest temperature at 46°C, followed by Mohenjo-Daro at 45°C.
